eXtreme Deep Field(XDF)와 허블의 은하계 통과 비행 묘사 영상
NASA/유럽 우주국 허블의 10년 관측을 결합하여 수집한 이미지(eXtreme Deep Field, XDF)들을 사용하여 은하계를 통과하는 비행을 묘사한 영상입니다. 천문학자들과 시각화 전문가들은 약 3천 개의 은하계에 대해 측정 및 추정한 거리를 사용하여 은하 분포의 3차원 모델을 구축했습니다. 영상에서 카메라는 130억 광년이 넘는 공간(3차원 모델의 거리가 크게 압축된)을 횡단합니다.
