의학과 해부학에서 인체의 움직임을 설명하기 위해 사용하는 용어. 인체의 표준 해부학적 자세(사람이 서서 손바닥이 앞으로 향한 상태)를 기준으로 설명

전방 (Anterior) - 몸의 앞쪽
후방 (Posterior) - 몸의 뒤쪽
상방 (Superior) - 몸의 위쪽
하방 (Inferior) -몸의 아래쪽
1)굴곡(Flexion) / 신전(Extension)
2)내전(Adduction) / 외전(Abduction)
3)내회전 Medial rotation) /외회전(Lateral rotation)
4)회내(Pronation) / 회외(Supination)
손바닥을 아래로 향하게 하는 동작, 손바닥을 위로 향하게 하는 동작
5)배측굴곡(Dorsiflexion) / 저측굴곡(Plantarflexion)
발목을 구부려 발등이 위로 향하게 하는 동작, 발목을 구부려 발바닥이 아래로 향하게 하는 동작
